notes

  • This project was started during the summer of 2020 :: a time of isolation upheaval grief resistance reflection. There were several partners that I would have worked with this year on site, in person. I am grateful to their inspiration, existence, support. I have thought of them ::: taken refuge in them ::: drawn sustenance and *energy* from them. I have been in their orbit.
  • This generative media project continuously weaves my text and code, pigments drawn from old photographs (artifacts / landscapes from my past), recorded cello work and found sound fragments. It also draws from the text of Duluth / Iron Range poet, Sheila Packa.
